Mo bhuíochas libh as bhúr dtacaíocht i leith an soinseál atá déanta i leith páirceáil las muigh. Tá ag éiri go breá linn agus táim ana bhuíoch le Coiste na dTuismitheoirí as an gcuidiú a chug siad dúinn ag an láithearán an tseachtain seo.
Cúpla pointe le míniú go fóill:
- Ba chóir transú ag an Trasnú Séabra amháin. Is é seo an áit is sábháilte chun trasnú sa zón.
-Mura bhfuil spás páirceála duit ar an zón coimeád ag tomáint isteach is amach as an zón go dtagann spás aníos.
-Níl cead páirceáil ar na línte dúbailte buí.
-Níor chóir do thuismitheirí páirceáil ins an eastáit tithíochta trasna ón scoil ná ar thaobh an bhóthar i ndiaidh an scoil.
Your co-operation at the Drop-Off Zone this week was much appreciated. It is a big change for all involved and the transition to our new system is working well. My thanks to the PA for helping to guide others at the Zone this week.
There are a few points I would like to make:
NB Pedestrians shouls ONLY cross the zone at the Padestrian/ Zebra Crossing! It is the safest part of the Zone, and the only point at which I want to see Parents/ Children crossing at. I understand it might put you out a minute or two to get to the Zebra Crossing and cross safely however safety is our top priority. I'm sure you encourage your child to always cross a road at the safest point and the same rules should apply at the Gaelscoil.
- The middle lane of the Zone is a free flowing lane. If there is no parking space available when you arrive at the school please continue to circle the zone, exiting and entering it until a space becomes available.
- Parking on the double yellow lines is not permitted as it obstructs the flow of traffic.
- We need to respect our neighbours, therefore it is not advisable to park in the housing estate across from the school or on the side of the road after the school.
- It is up to you to explain this process to anyone collecting your child / children on your behalf.
