We had some very special visitors to Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile today! On horseback no less! Chomh sásta, so happy that we're managing to maintain our fun traditions -albeit in a different manner, this very unusual year. Gaelscoil Chionn tSáile abúúúúú!🎅 🤶

Comhgháirdeas mór le foireann díospóireachta Rang 6 a ghlac páirt in a gcéad díospóireacht i gcoinne Ballymoney NS. Is é an rún a bhí siad i gcoinne ná 'Junk food should be banned in schools'. Bhí siad thar barr 😀
Congratulations to the Rang 6 debate team who participated in their first debate against Ballymoney NS. The motion which they opposed was 'Junk food should be banned in schools'. They did so well😀

AN POST- Litreacha do h-ionaid cúraim/letters for Haven Bay
Scríobh rang a 4 litreacha don ionad cúraim Haven Bay agus chuireadar sa phost inniu iad 27/11/'20.
Rang a 4 wrote some letters to the residents of Haven Bay and posted them FREEPOST today as part of the AN POST initiative. They included some dánta, crosfhocail, poems, crosswords and drawings.
Lá Altaithe Sona Daoibh/ Thanksgiving 2020
Bhain Naíonáin Mhóra sár-taitneamh as 'Lá Altaithe' a chéiliúradh i mbliana. D'fhoghlaíomar faoi na Stáit Aontaithe agus na traidisiúin a bhaineann leis an ocáid seo. Smaoiníomar ar na rudaí is fearr inár saoil agus rinneamar an-iarracht chun "go raibh maith agat" a rá le gach duine. Seo an taispéantas a chuireamar le chéile:
Naí Mhóra enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving this year, we learnt about America and the traditions surrounding this special occasion. We thought about all the wonderful things in our lives that we are grateful for and we made a big effort to say 'thank you' all day. This is a little display we put together to mark the day:
