An Cóineartú / Confirmation

Fé mar is eol do mhaidrí an baile, bhí ár gCóineartú againn inné. Ba ócáid álainn, spriodálta, snasta, naofa í. Chomhghairdeas mór leis na páistí a chuaigh faoi lámh Easpag Sheáin Ó Buachalla. Ina dhiaidh, bhí cupán tae deas le fáilt in Ionad an Mhainistir. D'oibrigh coiste na dtuistí R3 & R4 go dian chun gach rud a leagadh amach go deas agus bhí gach sórt cáca, briosca agus ceapaire go bhféadfá smaoineamh air ann! Go raibh maith agat leis leis na tuistí ar fad a chabhraigh go mór chun lá speisialta a dhéanamh dos na páistí.

As everyone knows, we had our Confirmation yesterday. It was a beautiful, spiritual, polished, holy occasion. A big congratulations to the children who were confirmed by Bishop John Buckley. Afterwards there was a lovely tea in the Friary Centre. The parents association members from 3rd and 4th class worked hard to lay out everything nicely and there was every sort of cake, biscuit and sandwich that you could think of there! Thanks so much to all the parents that helped greatly to make such a special day for the children.
