A
chairde,
Tá go leor obair
déanta ag an gcoiste glas i mbliana chun bithéagsúlacht a spreagadh i ngairdín
na scoile. Chuir na páistí bláthanna fiáine agus glasraí éagsúla le Máire agus Cheannaigh
an Coiste Glas cúpla óstán d'fheithidí agus tithe éin. Baineann bithéagsúlacht le
gach rud lasmuigh atá beo – na crainn, na bláthanna fíáine, na míolta beaga, na
héin, ainmhithe beaga, abhainneacha, éisc. Ionas gur féidir libh leanúint ar
aghaidh ag foghlaim faoi bhithéagsúlacht i rith laethanta saoire an tsamhraidh
tá leabhrán álainn faighte againn ó Transition Town Kinsale.
Cliceáil ar an nasc
anseo (Bithéagsúlacht) chun teacht ar an leabhrán eolais . Gheobhaidh tú eolas ginearálta faoi
bhithéagsúlacht agus conas is féidir leat cabhrú sa bhaile. Glac grianghrafanna nó
físeáin de gach rud a dhéanann tú. Bheadh sé go hiontach iad ag fheiceáil! Is
féidir libh níos mó eolas a fháil faoi Transition Town Kinsale ar an leathanach
Facebook Kinsale Nature Watch.
A chairde,
The Coiste Glas have done lots of work this year to encourage biodiversity in our school garden. They have planted wild flowers and various vegetables with Máire and bought a bug hotel and some bird houses. Biodiversity is anything outside that is alive – trees, wild flowers, mini-beasts, birds, small animals, rivers and fish. So you can continue learning about Biodiversity during the summer Transition Town Kinsale have sent us a lovely booklet all about biodiversity.
Click on this link (Biodiversity) to view the booklet. You will get some general advice about Biodiversity and how you can help at home.We would like if students could try maybe one project during the summer months and please share any photos or videos with us. Transition Town Kinsale have more information on their Facebook page Kinsale Nature Watch and they would love to see what you do to promote biodiversity in your own home.
